Terms & Conditions

Booking & Reservations

• All services must be booked through our website.

• First-time clients are required to schedule a consultation, kitchen assessment, and dietary planning session.

• A non-refundable $100 deposit is required at the time of booking. 

• Menus must be finalized no later than five (5) days before the scheduled event date.

Personal Chef Meal Prep - Service Policy

• Services are offered at a flat base rate of $375 + Groceries

• The chef will handle all grocery shopping for the event.

• Grocery expenses will be billed separately as direct reimbursement costs.

• Services include on-site meal preparation and complete kitchen cleanup.

• All prepared food will be cooled, packaged, and labeled appropriately.

• Clear reheating instructions will be provided with all packaged meals.

Intimate Meal For Two - Service Policy

• Services are offered at a flat base rate of $150/person + Groceries.

• The chef will handle all grocery shopping for the event.

• Grocery expenses will be billed separately as direct reimbursement costs.

• Services include on-site meal preparation and complete kitchen cleanup.

Small Event Dining - Service Policy

• Services are offered at a flat base rate of $125/person + Groceries

• The chef will handle all grocery shopping for the event.

• Grocery expenses will be billed separately as direct reimbursement costs.

• Services include on-site meal preparation and complete kitchen cleanup.

• Guest count must be finalized 48 hours prior to service date. 

• A $50 service fee will be applied for guest count changes under 48 hours from service date.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to avoid additional fees.

• Requests to reschedule must be communicated and approved at least 48 hours prior to the service date.

• Late cancellations will incur a $100 cancellation fee.

Pricing & Payment

• Grocery expenses will be billed separately as direct reimbursement costs.

• A finalized invoice will be provided immediately following service completion.

• Payment is due upon receipt of the final invoice.

• Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, and electronic bank transfers.

Health & Safety

• Clients must disclose all food allergies and dietary restrictions during the booking process.

• Kitchen workspaces must be clean and cleared prior to the chef’s arrival.

• All staff members strictly adhere to local food safety and sanitation regulations.

• We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service in unsafe, unsanitary, or hostile environments.

Leftover Food Policy & Liability Waiver


Ownership of Leftovers
All food prepared by Kingdom Chef LLC ("Chef") during the scheduled service that is not consumed by the client or guests remains the property of the client, as they have paid for the ingredients and labor.


Storage and Packaging
• At the end of the service, the Chef will package all safe-to-consume leftovers in containers provided by Chef.

• The Chef is not responsible for rearranging or cleaning client refrigerators to create space. If space is unavailable, leftovers will be left on the counter, and the client assumes all responsibility for immediate storage.

Liability Waiver

Transfer of Responsibility: Once the Chef has packaged the food and placed it in the client’s kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, or counter), the Chef’s responsibility for the food ends.

Client Responsibility: The client assumes all risk and liability for the storage, handling, reheating, and consumption of the food after the chef leaves the premises.

Disclaimer Kingdom Chef LLC is not liable for foodborne illnesses resulting from improper storage, improper reheating, or consumption of leftovers past the recommended safety date by the client, their family, or their guests.

Right to Discard
• The Chef reserves the right to discard any food deemed unsafe, including items that have been left out at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if the ambient temperature is over).

Liability

• Kingdom Chef LLC shall not be held responsible for the repair or replacement of client-owned equipment or cookware that fails during the normal course of service due to pre-existing wear and tear, manufacturing defects, or improper maintenance. The Client agrees to indemnify Kingdom Chef LLC against any claims for damage to the premises not directly caused by the gross negligence of the Chef.

• Kingdom Chef LLC assumes no liability for injuries, allergic reactions, or illnesses sustained by the Client or the Client’s guests unless such injury is a direct result of the Chef’s proven negligence. This waiver includes, but is not limited to, slips and falls in the workspace by non-staff members or injuries resulting from the Client’s own equipment. The Client agrees to maintain adequate homeowners or renters insurance to cover such occurrences.

Photography & Social Media Content Policy


As part of the culinary experience, Kingdom Chef LLC, ("Chef") may take photographs or videos of prepared dishes, table settings, and behind-the-scenes preparation ("Content") during service for marketing, portfolio, and social media purposes.


Scope of Photography


Food & Atmosphere: Chef will primarily focus on photographing the food, ingredients, plating, and table styling.
Private Spaces: Chef agrees to respect the privacy of the client’s home and will not take photos that disclose the specific location, personal photos, or private belongings of the client.
People: No guests or clients will be featured in photos without explicit, verbal, or written consent.


Usage Rights


Marketing & Promotion: Photos may be used on the Chef’s website, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and print marketing materials.
Ownership: All Content created by the Chef remains the intellectual property of Kingdom Chef LLC.


Client Privacy & Opt-Out
• Clients who prefer that no photos are taken of their meals or that no content is posted to social media should notify the Chef in writing prior to the event date.
• If a client requests a photo taken down after it has been posted, the Chef will remove it within 24 hours.


Quality & Branding
• Content will be curated to reflect high-quality, professional standards that match the branding of Kingdom Chef LLC.

Consent
• By booking Kingdom Chef LLC, the client consents to this photography policy unless a written opt-out is received.
